For the third time, THEG-CHOG NORBU LING® will be graced by the presence of His Excellency, “The Glorious One endowed with the realization of scriptural transmission and enlightened activity, whose self-expanding qualities manifest humility, Teacher of the Victorious Ones, the Precious One of the Karma Lineage”, Karma Palden Lungtog Thrinley Rang-gyay Chungpo Gyaltön Rinpoche.
This year, Rinpoche will provide us with his own insights on a major text on Mind training, the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, by Gyalsray Togmed Zangpo. Composed in the 14th Century, the 37 practices of a Bodhisattva consist of a series of pith instructions on how to follow the Bodhisattva Path and reach enlightenment.
This text can be seen as set of direct practice instructions on the topic of Mind training. The “The Lamp to Enlightenment” from Lord Atisha as well as the Eight verses of mind training by the reknown Kadampa Master Lhangri Tangpa, while the Bodhicharyavatara from Shantideva being the extensive version.
We look forward to welcoming you at THEG-CHOG NORBU LING®, thus furthering the blessings of the French Kagyu Monlam held at TNG-Centre earlier, this summer.
