Karma Lekshey Phagmo met Lama Sangyay Tendzin during his time in Tibet, where he coordinated various charitable projects he had established. Under his guidance for over 33 years, Naljorma Lekshey Phagmo completed several major retreats.

Presently, she regularly teaches at Theg-Chog Norbu Ling® and oversees the Dharma publishing house, Konchog Tsegpa Parkhang®, established under the auspices of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje.
